MGB server maintenance Sat 21st Jan 9am PST

My Game Builder will be down for maintenance on Saturday 21st from approx 9am Pacific Standard Time.  Forums will be up, but the MGB editor/player will be unavailable.

We are moving the main account server to the new machine to reduce costs, tighten site security and improve login performance.

We estimate that My Game Builder should be back up by around 4pm PST if all goes well.

[EDIT: Back up .. at 4pm!  just made it... Check you have build 186 in your browser, report any new issues in this topic.]

Normally I would be excited (maybe links will be fixed?) yet disappointed that I wouldn't be able to use it for a day.

Fortunately I'll be gone all day Saturday at a nearby ensemble speech competition, so I'm just excited this time.

phew...so glad i saw this topic.
If i tried to get on tomorrow and saw it was offline i would think it would be a repeat of the 2-week thing when MGB was down.  XD

Yes, I just had to update some firewall settings to let access starting. I see people logging in now.

This was a big update to the server code - no functionality, but making everything up-to-date - so please let us know here if you see any strange bugs/glitches.

When I browse the Current Project tab, all tiles appear as white boxes. When I click on them they appear though.

Might be related to the server update.
