The Prophecy (RPG - Pretty Cool)

A new RPG I am coming up with.

So far, it is looking quite good.  Allow me to go over the aspects of the game, then tell me what you think of it.  Any suggestions, feedback, or if you have something nice to say... go ahead and post!  What would you like to see in the game?

OK, so your this Hero in the woods.  Prophecy says you were chosen to defeat the Four Reignlords.  The Reignlords are powerful figures in the land, each unique.  The Reignlord of Strength is a very powerful and long-living mortal.  The Reignlord of Range is a cunning, fast, and expert at guns.  The Reignlord of Magic is a powerful spell caster, who fuses all elements into one and fires them in one powerful blast.  The last, and leader, of the Reignlords is unknown, but he is a master of Strength, Range, and Magic.

As soon as your journey begins, you arrive in a village.  From here, your main goal is to defeat the four Reignlords, in any order, as the gameplay is non-linear.  Sadly, you're to weak to do this, so there are petty enemies roaming the outskirts of towns to kill.  Each enemy drops a Gold Coin, and an EXP Orb.  You'll need these for the future.

EXP Orbs are very special!  In the initial town is a EXP Store.  Here, you can train in three specific areas, each with two sub-skills.  There is Strength, which increases Health and Muscle; Range, which increases your Accuracy (gun damage) and Range; and then Magic, which, if trained enough, unlocks newer spells.  Mastering them all is very important!  So mix it up, and remember the Reignlords are powerful beings.

Gold can be used for many reasons.  Swords can be bought from any local Blacksmith.  The Swords increase in damage the higher they are, coupled with a Hero of Strength and you can be super powerful.  Guns can also be bought from any Gunsmith in town, The higher the Gun, the more range and damage it has, mixed with a Hero of Range and a Gun is powerful.  Potions can be purchased to restore lost health.  The can be CARRIED and cost more then food, and the potions are bought in Shoppe Stores.  Food is purchased in the Inn, and food restores lost health (a small amount) and does it automatically, so you eat it once you get it.

What else do I have?  The weapons, the spells, the guns, maxing your Hero, defeating the Reignlords... that's not it.  Small things are lying around.  Books in Libraries to read tell you about the world, special keys that open chests and unlock rare and powerful artifacts, and more.

At anytime during the game, you'll be able to Retire, which ends the game, and tallies your overall score and adds you to the list of completions.  Who will obtain the most points?

I'd come up with something like, There once was a great hero... he was very strong and fast, but not smart.  There were 4 villains in the land, and this hero was asked to destroy them.  He fought once, and because he wasn't so right in the head, he attacked their leader, and perished.  His only son was chosen to defeat the villains and hopefully live.  This son, was what one would call the runt of a litter.

After four Reignlords begin corrupting the land, the people of Drenia are in desperate need of safety and help.  A volunteer from the northern Greenwood Camp decides to make his way south, through Greenwood and into the town to help secure the land.


If it was that, then it would just be some random guy in the world taking care of business.

Oh yeah, Wish, I am trying my best to motivate myself to finish this game.  Actually, I feel good about it already, it has some of my best graphics I ever did (which STILL looks bad, but OK).  I also found a technique which makes me easily make more vendors, and everything.  In fact, the Strength and Range Vendors are finished up to level three, max level 7, but I will release that when I get the game done.  I also have a weapon being made, plus monsters... (I got a lot to do).

Exactly! If somebody was "The chosen one" it would be completely obvious he would win in the end. Where as a random person
has a higher err.. chance of death... I think.

What about playing as a villain? I don't think many people thought of this.
Or what about a person who is stuck in-between two sides of war, err a neutral person who will stay neutral?
I'm only giving my opinion, this is a "what-if" not a "Should be". Anyway, I hope you can complete your game. Good Luck.

I want you too look for something I made a long time ago called angelus mortis, but never finished, the good and evil thing was taken in fact look for my teaser poster on the forum

ya i dont think he gotya there.

i am makeing a game with several different endings as long as choseing between mage, knight, or ranger. the game is called elvarg island2, released some time this summer.
