The First One (From Your Point Of View): Everyone else's Life is more important and that you should Sacrifice yourself for everyone else.

The Second One (From Another Persons Point Of View): That one Person should not die. His Life shouldn't be taken away just for these other people. It's better for the Enemy to not die rather than that one person dying.

It's showing what you would do in A Life or death situation.

Not Exactly. The other people wouldn't die. It's just that if that one Persons Life was at Risk, Would you Save him even by doing that it would stop the cause of evil never coming back again or save him but evil still lurks rests in A long sleep before waking up again.
